About this route

You have just woken up in a new world. It's hard to recognize anything, and everything around you proves you have taken a time-travel journey few are privileged to experience. The year is no longer 2024, but 1567. Hamar is abandoned, the people are gone, and yet another war has recently ended. It might seem scary, but we believe you have what it takes to survive this time travel and return to the right century. Along the way, you will discover Hamar's history, for better or worse. The journey to return to reality has begun. Find the answers around you by using your senses. Good luck!

Welcome to the Old Town in Fredrikstad! You are about to embark on a historical journey that will test both your observational skills and logical sense. This route is approximately 2 km long and will take you around 90 minutes to complete. But remember: This is not a race against the clock! We actively encourage you not to rush. Feel free to take breaks along the way to enjoy a lunch, an ice cream, or a good coffee at one of the city's many cozy cafes. Throughout the game, you must collect letters to find the secret exit. For each correct answer, you receive one letter for the password. Keep an eye on the question counter at the top of the screen (e.g., "1/19") to see how far you have come. Sharpen your wits – the adventure awaits!
