The year is 1566, and ruthless French pirates have just landed on the coast of Madeira to plunder Funchal! To protect the city's most precious treasure, the Governor hid it in a highly secure fortress before disappearing. He left behind a coded trail of 12 riddles scattered through the city streets. You are a team of modern-day treasure hunters who have discovered the Governor's diary. But beware – the pirates are on your tail! At each of the 12 locations, you must read a piece of local history and observe your surroundings to answer a question. If you answer correctly, you earn one letter of the secret 12-letter password. Guess wrong, and you get nothing. Gather the letters, crack the code, and find the secret exit before the pirates catch you!
